Fence Installer​/General Laborer

Tidewater Fence is a growing, family-owned fencing company serving Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina since 1987. We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our installation crews.

We're hiring both experienced fence installers and entry-level helpers who are motivated to learn the trade.

• Install wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain-link fencing

• Dig holes, set posts in concrete, and assemble fence sections

• Assist with gates, tear-outs, and job site preparation

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment

• Maintain clean and organized job sites

• Work alongside crew leaders to complete projects safely and efficiently

• Valid driver's license required

• Reliable transportation to our Moyock shop

• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors

• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

• Previous fencing or construction experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8–10 hour days, with occasional Saturdays.
