Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Bunn, NC. The CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport agricultural products, materials, and supplies to and from farms, retail locations, and distribution centers. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading products, securing cargo, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and completing required delivery documentation.

The driver will follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, adhere to company safety protocols, and maintain clear communication with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams. The role may also involve assisting with basic warehouse duties, supporting seasonal agricultural operations, and providing courteous service to customers at delivery points.

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A license, a clean driving record, and demonstrated experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe loading, unloading, and cargo securement practices.
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections, identify basic mechanical issues, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Strong attention to safety, situational awareness, and ability to follow company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers, and for completing delivery logs and documentation accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift and move product, work in varying weather conditions, and assist with warehouse or yard tasks when required.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible or seasonal hours to support agricultural operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in agriculture, logistics, or related industries is preferred.
