Location: Tar Heel
CDL-A Semi-Local Driver –Smithfield, NC
Earn an average of $1,160 per week , with top weekly earnings of approximately $1,550
. This semi-local driving position offers no-touch freight, consistent routes, and the opportunity to get home 3–4 times per week , depending on customer needs. Drivers average approximately 1,500 miles weekly and may stay out overnight once per week.
- Average weekly pay: $1,160
- Average annual pay: $60,320
- Top weekly pay: $1,550
- Top annualized earnings: $80,453
- Per-load pay for runs up to 189 miles, then CPM
- Safe and on-time bonus opportunity
- Shift length: Approximately 12 hours
- Start times: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Schedule options: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Night driving required
- Weekend and holiday work required
- Home 3–4 times weekly when customer needs allow; may stay out overnight once per week
- Semi-local dedicated freight operation
- No-touch freight
- Approximately 1,500 miles per week
- Deliveries within a 300-mile radius of Tar Heel, NC
- On-site office staff and maintenance support
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work
- Must be available for night driving, weekends, and holidays
