Overview
E-Commerce Warehouse Worker - Atlantic Tire Distributors. As an E-Commerce Warehouse Worker, you will be an integral part of our e-commerce fulfillment operations. Responsible for efficiently and accurately handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. This role involves receiving, picking, and shipping orders.
Responsibilities- Operating a forklift and related equipment to load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse.
- Review shipments and advise management of shortages or damaged shipments.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets, work tickets or handheld scanner.
- Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
- Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and organized manner.
- Compliance with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually loud. The environment may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Minor workplace injuries are possible, but safe practices help prevent serious accidents.
High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required. Experience operating a forklift is also preferred but not required.
