Warehouse Associate Shift 1 – Hubbell Incorporated – Arden, NC
Job OverviewThe role of the Warehouse Associate I is responsible for providing the highest level of quality and service to our customers. Responsibilities include accurate and timely receiving of inventory, product movement, cycle counting and shipping orders in a salable condition. While performing duties, the Warehouse Associate I will be responsible for operating lift trucks and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
ADay In The Life
- Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to minimize accidents.
- Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur.
- Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies.
- Follow all visual aids to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
- Contribute process suggestions to continuously improve warehouse operations.
- Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor to correct the issue.
- Fully contribute to continuous improvement events.
- Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the warehouse operation.
- Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day.
- Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
- Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety, and warehouse standards.
- Ability to handle regular job problems within a defined area of responsibility using basic problem‑solving skills.
- Physical requirements may be generalities; work may occasionally exceed specified levels.
