What You’ll DoAs a Bookkeeper at MBW, you’ll play a key role in supporting our clients’ day-to-day financial needs. You’ll work with a variety of businesses to keep their financial records accurate and up to date, all while being part of a team that truly values collaboration and quality.
- Perform monthly accounting and bookkeeping functions using Quick Books and other software
- Prepare Sales & Use Tax Returns
- Prepare Form 1099s and Personal Property Tax Returns
- Review incoming client documents for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with special accounting projects as needed
- Manage your time effectively and leverage current tools and technology to deliver efficient service
- Follow all firm policies and procedures
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Quick Books required; prior experience with a CPA firm is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Clear communicator and a dependable team player
