Construction Project Engineer - North Charleston, SC - RQ Construction

Headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, we are a full-service Design-Build company managing projects across the United States. Our field operations team members work on location for each project, specializing in fast-track commercial construction for public and private clients, with a primary focus on the Department of Defense market.

We are seeking a Project Engineer (PE) to join our Field Operations team in Charleston, SC. The position requires working on an active military base project. We are currently accepting applications.

Responsibilities include supporting all phases of a commercial construction project from conception to completion, including organizing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring activities. Depending on experience, the PE may also undertake certain project management responsibilities.

Local candidates from Coastal Carolina will be prioritized, but relocation or travel to the project site will be required.

Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 annually

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field required. Equivalent work experience and training may be considered.
• Proficiency in Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications required; training available.
• Prior commercial construction experience preferred.
