Responsibilities- Develop utility plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of engineering through projects and challenges.
- Build knowledge of rules and regulations for a variety of project types.
- Work with CAD, GIS, Office tools, and specialty software.
- Visit work sites during design and construction phases to see projects come to life.
- Learn about materials, methods, and contractor practices for infrastructure design.
- Enhance time‑management, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Develop writing and research skills through reports, permit applications, and more.
- Identify tasks needed to complete assignments and collaborate with clients to improve communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Engineer‑in‑Training certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Responsibility and ability to take directions and complete tasks or projects.
- Experience with MS Office, Google Docs, and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Motivated to learn, challenge yourself, and work with a team to achieve common goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to thrive on a team.
- Ability to embody our brand by treating clients and employees with courtesy and respect.

Additional InformationWork is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional travel to project sites for data collection and construction review. Fieldwork involves exposure to weather, traffic, and noise, and requires extensive walking over uneven surfaces and varied terrains.
