At Little, we believe great design is built on strong relationships, collaboration, and informed decision-making. Our Finance team plays an important role in that success, helping our project teams understand their financial performance, navigate challenges, and make decisions that support both our clients and our business.
As we continue transforming the way we work through Microsoft Dynamics 365, we're looking for a Project Accountant who brings more than technical accounting skills. We're looking for a curious, proactive business partner who enjoys working with people, embraces technology, and wants to make a meaningful impact. This is an opportunity to be part of a Finance team that is evolving beyond traditional accounting processes to become a trusted, collaborative partner across the firm.
WhatYou'll Do:
Be a Trusted Business Partner
- Build strong relationships with Project Managers and Studio Principals, providing financial insights that support informed decisions.
- Proactively identify project risks and opportunities, bringing solutions rather than simply reporting problems.
- Help project teams understand revenue, costs, direct labor multiplier, profitability, work-in-progress, and forecasts through guidance and training.
- Manage project setup, contracts, revenue recognition, subconsultant management, and ongoing project maintenance.
- Monitor project performance, including plan-vs-actual results, estimates at completion, and profitability.
- Partner with project teams to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and collections.
- Leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365 and reporting tools to deliver accurate, actionable financial information.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and embrace automation.
- Champion new ways of working by sharing ideas, collaborating, and helping colleagues adapt to change.
- Actively participate in your local office and the broader Little community.
- Build relationships beyond Finance and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture.
- Bring curiosity, initiative, and a team-first mindset to your work every day.

- Is naturally curious. You ask thoughtful questions, seek to understand the bigger picture, and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo constructively.
- Takes ownership. You anticipate needs, follow through on commitments, and approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Builds relationships. You enjoy working with people, communicate clearly, and can build credibility with colleagues who may not have a financial background.
- Embraces change. You're comfortable learning new technology, adapting to evolving processes, and helping others navigate change.
- Wants to be part of something bigger. You value relationships, participate in your workplace community, and recognize that a great culture is something we all help create.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience preferred.
- Experience in architecture, engineering, design, professional services, or other project-based environments preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial results and communicate findings to nonfinancial…
