Job Description SummaryThe Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II reports to the Pediatric Interventional Cardiac and Imaging Manager. Under indirect supervision, the Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II provides high‑quality echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis by a Pediatric Cardiologist in a professional manner that is consistent with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. This role requires independent and efficient performance of clinical pediatric echo operations in the hospital and procedural setting, entering full preliminary reports, covering all MUSC Pediatric Echo Lab locations and shifts including call rotation.
This role organizes and prioritizes patient exams and contributes to unit teamwork.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
