Position: NetOps Automation Engineer with Security Clearance

Tech is seeking an Net Ops Automation Engineer to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
* Active Top Secret Level Clearance
* Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems (BS, BA, or Associate of Science (AS) shall be from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program.)
* Certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual, as applicable. (i.e. CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP, and GSEC)
* Five (5) years of professional experience in Net Ops Automation Engineering to include supporting operational requirements of computer network systems including servers, networking devices, and associated hardware and software.
* Automation of installation/configuration of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and updates, as well as local system design and implementation documentation
* Experience with various automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and other declarative configuration tools and languages
* Experience with scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, Bash, and other widely adopted and supported languages
* Basic Networking: IP addresses, DNS, and how network issues affect devices
* Troubleshooting skills: use log files, event history, and version control to trace issues Available to Travel up to 20 days per year / several week-long trips On-site in North Charleston, SC / bldg. 198 About Sev1
