Description
SAIC is seeking a Dev Sec Ops Eng to join our team in North Charleston, SC
.
The Dev Sec Ops Engineer will:
- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
- Maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
- Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts. Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
- Support full automation of CI/ testing. Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
- Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
- Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
- Provide guidance and apply agile and Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of experience. Additional years experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- Strong expertise in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter).
- Experience with ArgoCD for continuous deployment and Git Ops.
- Proficiency in administering and supporting Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with AWX/Ansible Tower for managing automation tasks.
- Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and practices.
- Understanding of Dev Ops best practices and methodologies.
