Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Materials Management Manager of Final Assembly (Level K) to join our Fulfillment team based in North Charleston, South Carolina
.

This position will provide leadership and oversight to individual contributors for Boeing South Carolina Operations within the 787 Program.

Responsibilities
  • Manages and integrates employee’s activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Possesses and encourages others to have a mindset of Safety and First Pass Quality
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience with materials management and/or supply chain management
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role
  • Willingness to work any shift assigned based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 787 Airplane Program experience (or relevant aviation experience)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
Shift

This position is variable shift, meaning you will be placed on a shift at time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation.
