Environmental Department Manager – Due Diligence role at ECS Group of Companies
ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting. Today, we are a leader in geotechnical, construction materials, environmental and facilities consulting services.
Responsibilities- This position requires a commitment to manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives.
- Leading and mentoring a team of environmental technicians and project managers (must supervise at least 2 full‑time employees), overseeing environmental services projects and report reviews, preparing proposals for environmental services, managing departmental P&L, and assisting senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions.
- Supervision of employees and daily management of the department.
- Report preparation and project management duties based on the needs of the department.
- BS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science; MS preferred.
- 5‑10 years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license would go a long way.
