Production Planner

Mid Atlantic Search Consultant - Permanent Placement - Manufacturing, Logistics and Business Services Base pay range

$70,000.00 per year - $75,000.00 per year

Responsible for assisting with the continuous update of the Master Production Schedule to satisfy customer demand, achieve efficient operations, and maintain inventory control.

• Preparing accurate job packets - prepared and printed accurately for the production team
• Create material master data, BOM & Routings in SAP
• Release production orders in SAP
• Prepare the Master Production Schedule for individual projects as assigned by the Production Planning Manager.
• Initiate and update production schedules to meet changing demand and inventory requirements.
• Analyze inventory levels and requirements regularly and update schedules accordingly.
• Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings.
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
• Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endures duties of high quality standards at all times

• Associates degree in related fields.

• Able to handle multiple tasks and meet required deadlines.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Able to add, subtract, divide and multiply.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
• Experience with SAP.

• $70k-$75k/annually
