Base Pay Range$115,000 – $130,000 per year
Lead the charge in quality and safety on impactful federal construction projects, driving excellence in quality assurance and site safety.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control Functions
- Manage the three‑phase inspection process (Preparatory, Initial, Follow‑Up).
- Review submittals for compliance with design documents and contract specifications.
- Conduct daily quality inspections and maintain detailed records and reports.
- Monitor project progress against quality benchmarks and recommend corrective measures.
- Oversee development and maintenance of project as‑builts and closeout documentation.
- Supervise and instruct subcontractors on quality assurance procedures.
- Maintain defect tracking systems and corrective actions.
- Serve as liaison during government quality inspections.
- Site Safety & Health Functions
- Implement and manage the site‑specific safety and health program in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct daily safety walk‑throughs, identify hazards, and ensure mitigation.
- Develop and lead safety meetings, orientations, and toolbox talks.
- Oversee safety documentation including ACCIDENT PREVENTION PLAN (APP), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and incident logs.
- Investigate and report incidents and near‑misses with root‑cause analyses.
- Ensure PPE and site‑specific safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in pre‑construction safety reviews with stakeholders.
- Certifications
- USACE Contractor Quality Management (CQM) Certification
- OSHA 30‑Hour Certification
- EM 385‑1‑1 40‑Hour Training
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years in construction quality control.
- Minimum 3 years in safety management on federal or large‑scale commercial projects.
- Working knowledge of RMS 3.0 software preferred.
- Other Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel and work onsite across various regional projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
