$115,000 – $130,000 per year

Lead the charge in quality and safety on impactful federal construction projects, driving excellence in quality assurance and site safety.

• Quality Control Functions
  • Manage the three‑phase inspection process (Preparatory, Initial, Follow‑Up).
  • Review submittals for compliance with design documents and contract specifications.
  • Conduct daily quality inspections and maintain detailed records and reports.
  • Monitor project progress against quality benchmarks and recommend corrective measures.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of project as‑builts and closeout documentation.
  • Supervise and instruct subcontractors on quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain defect tracking systems and corrective actions.
  • Serve as liaison during government quality inspections.
• Site Safety & Health Functions
  • Implement and manage the site‑specific safety and health program in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct daily safety walk‑throughs, identify hazards, and ensure mitigation.
  • Develop and lead safety meetings, orientations, and toolbox talks.
  • Oversee safety documentation including ACCIDENT PREVENTION PLAN (APP), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and incident logs.
  • Investigate and report incidents and near‑misses with root‑cause analyses.
  • Ensure PPE and site‑specific safety protocols are followed.
  • Participate in pre‑construction safety reviews with stakeholders.

• Certifications
  • USACE Contractor Quality Management (CQM) Certification
  • OSHA 30‑Hour Certification
  • EM 385‑1‑1 40‑Hour Training
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
• Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in construction quality control.
  • Minimum 3 years in safety management on federal or large‑scale commercial projects.
  • Working knowledge of RMS 3.0 software preferred.
• Other Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel and work onsite across various regional projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
