We are seeking a dedicated Regional Affordable Apartment Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Charleston, SC. This position involves the day-to-day management of assigned regional affordable housing apartment communities, including overseeing leasing operations, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and addressing tenant concerns. The manager will lead and motivate the property management team to maintain high-quality standards in property upkeep, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve property goals and ensure a pleasant living experience for residents.
- Property Management and Affordable Housing Expertise:
Experience with leasing processes, affordable housing programs, and tenant compliance requirements is essential. - Leadership and Team Management:
Strong abilities in managing teams, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive working relationships are required. - Financial and Operational Acumen:
Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and operational management to align with property goals and profitability. - Communication and Customer Service:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding tenant and owner satisfaction. - Additional Skills and
Qualifications:
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local housing laws and regulations; computer proficiency in property management software; and a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
