The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Legal Project Coordinator for a prominent client. This position is located in North Chicago, IL
. Details for the position are as follows:
- Job Title: Project Coordinator I – Legal Project Coordinator
- Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr (W2)
- Location: 100% onsite
- Duration: Through end of 2026 (extension based on performance and business needs)
- Experience Level: 1–3 Years
The Legal Project Coordinator will support the Legal Project Manager in coordinating and tracking legal projects within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. This role involves managing documentation, assisting with project schedules and deliverables, and supporting communication across teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, professional, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Top Required Skills (3–5 Must‑Haves)- 1–3 years of experience; healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Prior experience as an assistant or coordinator, preferably within a legal or professional services setting.
- Experience working with Generative AI tools.
- Strong issue identification, problem analysis, and solution development abilities.
- Excellent workload management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player in a cross‑cultural environment.
- Proactive approach to identifying process improvements.
- Proficiency with productivity and project management tools (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
- Ability to work independently with strong responsibility and accountability.
- High attention to detail, resourcefulness, and commitment to confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Support the Legal Project Manager and legal team with project planning, scheduling, and administrative coordination.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring all stakeholders stay informed.
- Maintain and organize legal documents, files, and project records using appropriate systems.
- Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, summaries, and assist with presentations.
- Identify and flag project risks or schedule conflicts; assess potential impacts and recommend solutions.
- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and follow‑up actions.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance legal project management practices.
- Provide assistance with meeting logistics, execution, and related administrative tasks.
