Job DescriptionPurpose:
The Finance Lead oversees the financial planning and analysis consolidation processes and requirements across Operations. Provides guidance on Operations planning tools and systems, supports management analysis of actual versus benchmark results, and provides FP&A / actuals support to the Global Security team. The Finance Lead also assists with key projects and initiatives to improve financial planning processes, interacts with all levels of finance and business management, and provides required planning deliverables to meet Corporate FP&A requirements.
- Lead aspects of the Operations planning cycles including the monthly LBE and annual Plan and LRP. Submissions include the following: income statement, balance sheet, headcount, and supplemental schedules. Lead the consolidation process for each planning cycle and builds key slides for executive presentations.
- Ensure financial planning deliverables are accurate, clear, and concise for executive‑level review and approval.
- Provide FP&A and accounting support to the Global Security team, providing financial insights and decision support for Security initiatives.
- Assist with monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long‑range planning processes for the Global Security function.
- Partner with the business to support the planning processes for the Global Security and Office of the President P&L’s.
- Review and analyze financial performance, prepare variance explanations, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Support key projects and initiatives (e.g. planning system standardization, management reporting, and optimization) and drive process improvements while supporting ad‑hoc analysis / requests as required.
- Successfully perform all responsibilities with a high degree of self‑motivation and autonomy.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience.
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, customer demands, and deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout the business and finance organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management, including the ability to listen well and to influence others that do not report directly.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in business applications including BPC, SAP, Workiva, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work well independently and in a team environment.
- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
