Assignment Duration: 06 Months

Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8.5‑hour shifts with 30‑minute lunch and 30 minutes of breaks.

• Shifts rotate every 1 week between 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, and 11:00 AM starts.
• Hours range between 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
• No weekends, except on very rare occasions.
• No overtime unless there is a business need.
• Holiday schedule:
  During weeks with holidays, typically 32 hours; may choose to make up hours.
• Training:
  First 2 weeks 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM set schedule, following 2 weeks into rotating shifts.
• Work Arrangement:
  Onsite.

Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed. Directs pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.

• Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage or pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Enters data such as patient name, prescribed medication and cost, to maintain pharmacy files, charge system, and inventory.
• Assays medications to determine identity, purity, and strength.
• Instructs interns and other medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy.
• Compounds medications, using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.

• MUST be Licensed in IL.
• Retail Pharmacy experience.
• Multi‑tasking.
• Great Communication Skills.
• Self‑motivating.
• Experience in retail/mail order/specialty preferred but not required.
• Ambitious and looking to grow/learn.
• Comfortable with contractor pay structure.
• For past employment tenure, prefer at least one year history and prefer it to be with a retail organization i.e. Walgreens/CVS.
• Candidates MUST be comfortable being on their feet all day. No heavy lifting, however, they will be pushing carts that may be heavy - no more than 30lbs.
• Working Conditions & Physical Demands (If Applicable):
• Working in a distribution area.
• Not much time pushing carts, maybe every few hours (3 to
  4) - they may have to push 1 cart.
• They will be working in a distribution area.
• Will they be interacting with patients and/or providers? Not initially, but possible in the future.
• Note that hours could be anytime between 6am and 10pm (usually 8 hour shift).
