Base pay range

$32.00/hr - $33.00/hr

CONTRACT: 6-month extendable

• BS in Chemistry with 5 years of lab experience or Master’s Degree with 2 years of lab experience
• Solid use of instruments including HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, MS, ICP, etc.
• Lab research experience (academic and/or industry) with proven‑track record of presentations/publications
• Some familiarity of GMP and GLP and/or understanding of working in regulated environment

• Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks.
• Independently generate precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. Document the experimentation per the regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core discipline.
• Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments performed with less defined assays and parameters.
• Ensures safety and GxP requirements are met when performing tasks.
• Ensures timely and GxP compliant delivery of high-quality precise data.
• Apply basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument related systems.
• Present findings of defined experiments to larger audiences.

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or related field with minimum 5 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or master’s degree with minimum 2 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred).
• Experienced use of analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, and chromatography data systems (i.e., Empower, Openlab, Chromeleon).
• Strong documentation skills, familiarity of GMP, GLP. Able to present experimental findings to larger groups.
