Associate Data Scientist II – Abb Vie
A hybrid role based in Lake County, IL. Join the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company by delivering precise, reliable, and reproducible data science solutions.
Base Pay Range$64,000.00/yr – $/yr
Responsibilities- Develop AI, gen AI, data science, and automation solutions using Python and other tools.
- Troubleshoot algorithms, protocols, and software programs.
- Demonstrate expertise in data engineering and data science techniques and modify protocols as needed.
- Perform routine tasks independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
- Analyze and critique results, noting significant variances or deviations.
- Learn and understand new methods and technologies.
- Create documentation and data visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adhere to corporate standards, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, and data security.
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years experience or Master’s Degree.
- Experience working on data science projects using Python, statistical and AI/ML frameworks to address business use cases.
- Experience in data engineering, insight generation, advanced analytics, and data science.
- Developing visualizations with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Preferred:
GenAI application development, LLM prompt engineering, and LLM-based solution architecture like RAG.
- Advanced analytics platforms (Dataiku, Alteryx, Sagemaker).
- Finance stakeholder solutions.
- AWS service solutions.
