Senior Engineer, Technology I s role leads the development and implementation of advanced technical capabilities to optimize manufacturing processes across Abb Vie’s global sites. The successful candidate will leverage AI/ML techniques and comprehensive manufacturing process knowledge to enhance the value of Abb Vie’s data assets, delivering analytics solutions that drive measurable business results through innovation and transformation.

• Lead and manage a significant portion of program execution by providing clear technical direction and leadership to development teams. Mentor team members and foster a culture of growth, while tracking progress to ensure timely and high-quality delivery aligned with strategic goals.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. Leverage knowledge of AI/ML techniques and manufacturing processes to design and implement advanced capabilities that optimize operations, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate across functions with business and technical stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities and integrate analytics into core processes, enhancing operational efficiency and strategic insights. Contribute to strategic planning with technical perspectives.
• Lead technical reviews and establish standards and best practices across projects. Champion innovative solutions and enhanced methodologies.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and project updates clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project life cycle.
• Connect project execution and technology delivery methodologies to a clear value capture plan and communicate value stories internally and externally.

• Bachelors Degree with 6 years experience;
  Masters Degree with 5 years experience;
  PhD with 0 years experience.
• Background in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn, understand and master new technologies.
• Extensive experience in AI/ML solution development and deployment within manufacturing or engineering sectors.
• Strong technical proficiency in data analytics and the design of innovative solutions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated history of successful execution in a fast-paced environment and in managing multiple priorities effectively.
