The Technician, Pilot Plant IV role involves setting up, cleaning, and maintaining equipment, running processes with supervision, and consulting with appropriate personnel when confronted with problems.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will observe quality characteristics of products and processes and complete documentation per current good manufacturing practice guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities- Learn and follow department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Develop systematic work habits that show effective organizational skills.
- Prepare for process requirements following supervisory instruction.
- Note quality issues and address with appropriate people.
- Review procedures and batch records, and make suggestions for improvements.
- Consistently give an accurate and complete material and equipment status report when handing off manufacturing process.
- Learn and be able to use inventory system.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a scientific-related field is desirable.
- Basic technical or mechanical background and knowledge required.
- Must have the ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written operating instructions.
- Must have the ability to write at a level sufficient enough to explain deviations or mistakes in process.
- Must have basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, using decimals and fractions, and recognizing proportions.
The compensation range for this role is $18.00/hr - $32.10/hr abbVie offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
