The Calibration Technician will ensure accurate calibrations for various process and/or analytical instruments used to manufacture pharmaceutical products.
InstrumentsChromatography Systems (HPLC, GC, LC‑MS, GC‑MS), Spectroscopy Systems (UV‑Vis, FTIR, ICP‑OES), Biological/Environmental Testing Equipment (Autoclaves, Incubators), and related.
Job Duties- Perform calibrations on analytical instruments used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing.
- Identify measurement errors and calculate uncertainties.
- Perform general repairs on equipment, as needed.
- Communicate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Assist with measurement and traceability questions.
- At least 2+ years of Metrology and/or Calibration experience with analytical instruments is needed, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of measurement practices and quality systems (e.g. ISO 17025).
- Analytical skills for interpreting schematics and calibration/repair procedures.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
