As a Security Guard - Hospital Patrol Driver in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, strong communication, and supporting a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities in and around the location.
• Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and general information as needed.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as appropriate for incident response and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
