Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer – Clinic Patrol Driver in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. This is a driving post, where you will monitor assigned areas while delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits and interacting with visitors, patients, and staff as needed.
- Assist with security-related procedures during emergency situations, following established protocols for the healthcare location.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
