Estimator needed to support civil and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents to understand scope and requirements.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for aggregates, asphalt, concrete, and related work.
- Solicit, collect, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
- Prepare accurate, competitive bids and support pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, and field teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure bids and estimating work align with company standards for safety, quality, and integrity.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and takeoff methods.
- Ability to analyze technical plans and specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for obtaining quotes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and accuracy.
- Team-focused mindset and commitment to safety and quality.
