Travel PTA - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for an inpatient acute care setting, requiring BLS certification and 1+ years of experience.

• License required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

• 13-week assignment in an inpatient acute, acute rehab, skilled swing bed, and outpatient care setting
• Covers both outpatient and inpatient areas within the PT department
• Treats approximately 8-12 patients per day
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Uses Matrix Care/Matrix for charting and documentation
• Professional attire or scrubs of any color permitted
• No clinical involvement required in this role
• Department currently staffed with one rehab aide
• Candidates who have been directly employed by any Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year will not be considered, though PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
