Night Auditor, Teddy's Residential Suites, Watford City, ND
Hotel Equities is seeking a Night Auditor for Teddy's Residential Suites in Watford City, ND.
Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $16.00/hr
Job Purpose:
The Front Desk Night Auditor is often the first point of contact and creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Check guests in, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
- Collect required identification at check‑in in accordance with local legislative requirements.
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Upsell rooms to maximize revenue.
- Respond to and record all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns.
- Record guest preferences in the system.
- Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges.
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions following established procedures.
- Manage guest safe‑deposit boxes as per hotel procedures.
- Communicate outstanding guest requests or issues to management when additional monitoring is required.
- Treat guest complaints or problems using service‑recovery guidelines.
- Follow established safety protocols and report incidents, breaches, or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or on‑duty manager.
- Book and modify guest reservations by phone or in‑house, including cancellations and revisions.
- Collaborate with other departments as per hotel procedures to maintain quality service.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including guest room tours, concierge services, or special requests.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic computer skills for property‑management and reservation systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reading and writing proficiency for paperwork, logging issues, and updates.
- Basic math skills for handling cash or credit transactions.
- Problem‑solving, reasoning, motivation, and training abilities.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
