As a Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our milling machines. As a Permanent Mill Operator, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Operating milling machines to meet production goals and maintain the highest level of quality control.
• Regularly inspecting equipment to identify any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
• Adjusting machine settings to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment.
• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot any issues and improve operational processes.
• Accurately documenting operations and production quantities.
• Assisting with training of new staff members on machine operation and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will bring a strong commitment to safety, a collaborative work style, and a passion for quality. The required qualifications for this role include:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an operator in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience operating milling machines or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
