Millwright Mechanic

Overview

We are seeking a skilled House Mechanic (Millwright) to join our team, responsible for a range of mechanical tasks essential to our factory operations. This role involves maintenance interventions such as inspection, alignment, and equipment refurbishment, with a focus on optimizing performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical principles and collaborate closely with production teams to ensure effective maintenance strategies.

Additionally, proficiency in welding, cutting, and fabrication using various materials is essential. Join us in driving operational excellence and ensuring the seamless functioning of our factories.

Locations:
Moorhead, MN;
Hillsboro, ND;
East Grand Forks, MN.

• Inspection, parts replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment.
• Understand the operating principles of equipment and its role in the overall process or factory.
• Understand the function and application of equipment to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with Production to understand operating parameters and ensure maintenance interventions are appropriate and effective.
• Perform joining and fabrication activities, including welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering of various materials. This includes welding carbon steel using SMAW and GMAW processes and welding stainless steel using SMAW.

• 2-year technical degree (such as Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Design, Machinist & Toolmaker, or related) OR completion of a state-approved millwright apprenticeship (non-ACS) with a minimum of 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience.

• OR a High School degree or diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 5 consecutive years of full-time industrial millwright experience.

• Candidates will be required to take a millwright, welding, and basic skills test.
• Candidates must pass a Safety Screen evaluating their ability to perform duties safely.

$33.78 - $38.31/hr

Dupont rotation of day and night shifts. 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM:
Day shifts. 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM:
Night shifts. Successful candidates must be able to work BOTH day and night shift schedules.
