Sanitation Tech – Anchor Ingredients Company
We are looking for a Sanitation Tech to maintain a clean and orderly facility, ensuring that production needs are met with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Pay RangeBase pay: $20.00/hr – $22.00/hr the actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Purpose Of PositionResponsible for general sanitation of the facility to maintain Anchor Ingredients’ high quality standards.
Responsibilities- Maintain the appearance of the facility – both inside and out
- Maintain sanitation logs, checklists and associated documentation
- Clean, including sweeping, mopping, shoveling, dusting, and vacuuming inside and outside the facility
- Clean and wash all company‑owned vehicles, including trucks, forklifts and other equipment
- Perform all general sanitation functions at the facility
- Complete snow removal and lawn mowing
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned, including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks/railcars, bagging, toting, and other duties assigned by the Plant Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in dust
- Ability to open traps on trailers or trucks
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work at significant heights
The work environment includes exposure to machinery, moving parts, airborne particles including grain dust, hazardous materials, fumes, adverse weather, extended seasonal hours, and high precarious places. The employee must regularly stand, walk, climb and handle various loads, occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for employees with disabilities.
