Cable Technician ; Onsite: Ross, ND

Overview

The Cable Technician I under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.

• Receives cable and carries out basic tests.
• Performs basic repairs and learns how to splice cable.
• Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field.
• This is an entry level position where the employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into his/her duties.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
• Ability to operate a Forklift and Skid Steer
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to use hand tools and verity of testers I.E VLF, multimeters.

• Pay Rate: Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 6-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Day shift | 40-hour/Week with overtime
