American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility, requiring 1+ year of experience and offering 13‑week night shift coverage.
Requirements- Active LPN license required, if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
- Work in a long-term care/skilled nursing care center (30-bed unit)
- Patient population includes mild dementia and bariatric cases
- Patient ratios of 30:1 with 2 med aides, or 15:1
- Uses Matrix Care/Matrix EMR for charting
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12‑hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- No on‑call or call‑back requirements
- Provide direct patient care in a post‑acute, long‑term care setting
- Weekend and holiday coverage required as part of the schedule
- Local candidates accepted at an adjusted rate
- Facility enforces an 80‑mile radius rule for local placement eligibility
