Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an ND or compact RN license.

• Active ND or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BSN not required
• Must understand and be able to perform admissions, transfers, discharges, and fall reporting
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

• Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit
• 12-hour day shifts from 7AM to 7:30PM, including every other weekend and holiday
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Resident-to-caregiver ratio of up to 1:35 on both day and night shifts
• Day shift nurse oversees up to 3 CNAs and potentially 1 bath aide (M-F), with a med aide assisting
• Night shift nurse oversees up to 2 CNAs and administers medication pass at the start of shift
• Nurse is responsible for all treatments on the unit
• Uses a computerized charting system not otherwise specified
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Perform admissions, transfers, discharges, and fall reporting as part of daily duties
• Responsible for administering medication pass and overseeing treatments for residents
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• Candidates residing within an 80-mile radius are considered local
