SUMMARY:

To greet guests and provide excellent customer service. To take and distribute beverage orders for our guests. Take menu orders from our guests and place them into the kitchen. To replenish beverage as necessary to our guests. Take orders out and serve our guests with great excellent customer service and check back with them. To collect all soiled dining utensils from guest’s tables and place in appropriate containers in wait area.

To clean and sanitize dining tables. To reset dining tables.

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED required

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a full-service restaurant preferred but not required
• Food handler certified (within 60 days of employment)
• TIPS certified (within 60 days of employement)

Skills

Required:

• Appropriate dress code
• Must have good math skills or the ability to count

Abilities

Required:

• The Abilities the applicant must already posses in order to qualify for the position
• Must be eligible to obtain a non-Gaming license
• Must complete a 90-day probationary period

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties:

• Greet guests in their section immediately upon their arrival.
• Take and fill customer’s beverage orders.
• Take customers’ orders and place them into the kitchen.
• Get customers soup salad ext. as ordered.
• Get orders out as quickly as possible.
• Refresh drinks ask if you can get them anything else.
• Check back to see if everything’s ok.
• Pre-Bus soiled plates from dining guests.
• Bring ticket out to the guest and thank them for dining with us.
• Transport all soiled eating utensils, plates, glasses, etc. to the dishwashing area in a timely fashion.
• Assist other wait staff when not busy.
• Restock cups, glasses and ice in wait staff areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to all Tribal Gaming Commission, company, and departmental policies and procedures
• To perform other functions as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand 2-3 hours in between breaks

Must complete a 90-day probationary period

Must be eligible to obtain a non-Gaming license

Must be able to lift 20-50-lbs. occasionally to frequently.

Able to stand and walk for long periods of time

Must not have any known food allergies

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Good oral and written communication and motivational skill

Appropriate dress code

Good health

Frequent bending, twisting and stooping

To perform other duties as assigned
