At this exciting time in our company, ABC stone has an opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in the stone industry and have a proven track record of driving growth in the New England market.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Outside Sales Representative at ABC Worldwide Stone. The Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, delivering sales presentations, providing excellent customer service, and developing new business opportunities. This role has a highly focused concentration in the New England territory. If you have a proven track record for driving growth in the New England market and have an extensive knowledge of the stone industry, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Work with VP of Sales on sales goals
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
  • Receive unsolicited leads when beneficial (from project development) - Infrequent
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations with potential customers to showcase our products/services
  • Give company presentations and CEU/Lunch and Learn via Zoom as well as in person
  • Attend events held at our ABC showrooms or at the Accounts’ offices
  • Attend trade shows
  • Attend to business events and off site training sessions
  • Gain knowledge of new products through internal meetings and presentations
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities
  • Introduce and explain materials and products to clients
  • Conducts visits to new and existing accounts
  • Meet with clients in showroom and/or at their office to discuss and develop leads, create architectural specifications and select materials suitable for the intended application
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggests products or services to meet those needs
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Provide client support and customer service via phone/email and in person
  • Set up Zoom calls and Conference calls
  • Conduct viewings
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any customer or vendor relationship problems
