This position contributes to sales targets by identifying and fulfilling simple sales opportunities and promoting bank products. Responsibilities include greeting customers, opening accounts, and working closely with team members to ensure an optimal customer experience.
Preferred education and experience: High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training preferred. One year of experience in a financial institution, cash handling, or sales is a plus.
Starting Pay: $18.00/hr.
Experience and Skills:- Assist with daily operations such as ABM servicing and opening/closing procedures.
- Contribute to sales goals by identifying sales opportunities and cross-selling bank products.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Build trust and confidence with clients and team members.
- Greet and interact with customers entering the branch.
- Meet transactional needs and resolve service inquiries.
- Open accounts, fulfill credit opportunities, and work with team members for optimal client experience.
- Expand relationships through local market interaction.
- Provide excellent client service, process transactions accurately, and adhere to service levels.
- Proficient in account opening, maintenance, and closing, including checks, wire transfers, and online banking.
- Ensure BSA compliance and detect suspicious activity.
- Make referrals based on client needs and use CRM for follow-ups.
- Participate in community and branch development activities.
- Comply with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Operate office equipment and use software tools effectively.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work outside normal hours, including weekends and travel.
