Site Supervisor

Overview

Site Supervisor - Experience Required – Ellendale, ND. Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor with supervisory experience to lead Security Officers and other personnel at client sites. This role includes ensuring post orders and rounds are followed, reporting, and coordinating with client representatives to meet security requirements.

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); ensure post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed; notify proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other personnel; reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management or designated representatives.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• Performs supervisory duties per company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, including interviewing, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; making hiring and termination recommendations.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• CPR, AED, First Aid, and AVADE certified.
• Safe Driving certified.
• 2 years security experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
