Journeyman Lineworker (Distribution and Small Transmission)

This job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT medical card. Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, and associated materials and equipment within the distribution and small transmission segments of the electrical power industry. Position requires 100% travel anywhere throughout the Mid West.

• Perform duties necessary to complete assigned tasks under the direct supervision of project foreman and project manager.
• Keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Comply with Brink Constructors and Federal Job Safety Requirements (O.S.H.A.).
• Report to assigned job site locations on time as directed.
• Store tools and equipment properly and use them safely.
• Organize materials and tools to maintain a clean and neat work area.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Line School Certificate or Transcripts
• Department of Labor Recognized Journeyman Lineworker Certification or proof of equivalent hours worked
• 4+ years previous transmission construction or equivalent experience
• Active, Valid Driver’s License
• Active, Valid CDL A
