MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Software Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of .S. Army Europe. You will play a crucial role in supplying mission command support.
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug new business automation applications, and implement significant enhancements to existing applications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software and web applications, supporting ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
- Leverage strong understanding of software development principles, methods, and techniques, along with proficiency in relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to apply expert knowledge to analyze user/business needs, plan and design user-centric applications.
- Successfully manage and execute complex projects with minimal supervision.
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Senior must have:
- Education: BA/BS Degree Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Technical skills: Experience with React, Bootstrap, Gulp, NPM, Webpack, and SASS. Experience building solutions using the Office 365 platform (Teams, SharePoint Online, etc.), Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Experience with SharePoint SPFX and React framework for building web UI interfaces. Experience with .Net Core and C# for web solution development. Proven experience integrating web applications with SharePoint Online, leveraging the SharePoint REST API to access resources.
Deep understanding of web development principles, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript. Experience using Git for source control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes. Experience with Palantir Foundry and building solutions in Maven and/or Vantage a plus. Experience working collaboratively within an Agile development team. - Security clearance level: Secret Level Security Clearance
- US citizenship with the ability to pass German TESA

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
