Salary Range: $22.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Pay: $22-24/HR

Position is 80% office work on a computer and 20% working on the floor
- Must be computer savvy

Outline of the role

Assist the shipping department’s process by coordinating activities with other departments.

Key responsibilities and tasks

• Input and edit shipping functions producing Interplant Delivery Tickets and Bills of Lading
• Split Deliveries for shipment
• File Deliveries
• Work with Inside Sales on Backorders and late Deliveries
• Backup to the Production Planner for coverage
• Help on the floor when needed operating a forklift to move material around
• All other duties as directed by Shipping Supervisor or Plant Manager
• Multi-Tasking abilities
• Accuracy and on time in all activities
• Constant improvement to system and processes
• Excellence in inter-office communications
• Excellence in quality products
• Support the Quality System
