Work Force Software, Integration Engineer

What You’ll Do
  • Develop data conversions that connect Work Force Software’s solutions with other client applications.
  • Configure the Work Force Software suite (Time, Scheduling, Integrations, etc.) according to client business requirements using JavaScript, HTML, or other scripting tools.
  • Confirm and refine business requirements, document code, maintain revisions, test, and develop quality assurance practices with clients during meetings and workshops.
  • Create and support knowledge‑base documents on integrations, strategies, and data architecture.
  • Troubleshoot import and export integrations, manipulating incoming CSV/XML/JSON data files as needed.
  • Design, implement, deploy, and maintain web‑service integrations between applications in cloud or on‑premises environments (SOAP, REST, etc.).
  • Support initial deployment of the Work Force solution to production for end users.
  • Implement single‑sign‑on and API authentication in the Work Force suite and on‑premises environments.
To Succeed In This Role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL and complex query writing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and other scripting tools.
  • Previous software integration experience is required.
  • Hands‑on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes between applications in cloud/on‑premises (cloud integration, application integration, enterprise web‑service APIs).
  • Experience integrating systems using traditional methods (CSV, ETL, SFTP, etc.) and web services (SOAP, REST, etc.).
  • Familiarity with claims‑based authentication such as SAML/OAuth, MFA, etc.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including potential international travel.
  • Located near an ADP or Work Force office to follow the hybrid work model.
Required Experience
  • College degree is preferred but not required; skills and relevant experience are primary.
  • Other acceptable experiences include military service.
Bonus Points For These
  • Knowledge of OCI, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON.
  • Background in HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience; current range: USD $59,100 – USD $120,200 per year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, or commissions.
