Weekend Nurse Practitioner (Skilled Nursing)

• Serve as the leading internal medicine provider for the SNF on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team and physicians to reduce weekend hospitalizations.
• Provide care to the entire resident population, including short‑term and long‑term stays, under the guidance of medical directors and attending physicians.
• Conduct new‑admission evaluations and coordinate discharge visits.
• Address patients exhibiting changes in condition.
• Offer advanced care planning, comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnoses, and prescription management within the SNF protocol.
• Prescribe medications and treatments, perform comprehensive physical examinations, and develop patient‑management policies.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicate effectively with attending physicians and specialists regarding patient care.

• Healthy work‑life balance with flexible scheduling.

• Revenue‑split compensation structure.

• Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) with a Florida license.
• Active license and DEA number.
• Prior experience in nursing or related medical fields.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership experience emphasizing teamwork within a healthcare setting.
• Master’s degree required.
