LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in North Haven, CT who has an immediate Tax Operations Specialist staffing need. This role is in office five days a week. This is a key tax and operational role with the primary responsibility of utilizing our software suite to verify client tax data analyzed by various tax preparation products, and input tax data submitted by clients into tax preparation software for the purpose of filing tax returns.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for verifying and inputting tax data submitted by clients for the purpose of filing tax returns
• Input any missing information into the software by looking into the company database for comparison.
• Support the administrative staff in managing the production and delivery of tax returns, and other administrative tasks

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 1+ years of tax accounting experience
• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Exceptional organizational skills, follow-up skills, and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work extra hours during busy tax seasonli>

$25-30/hr

Pay details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
