Position: Chemist (Plating)

Position Summary

The position is a hands‑on Chemist position with an emphasis on electroless and electrolytic plating, formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints & adhesives, troubleshooting raw materials, interacting with suppliers, etc., all related to the production of electrically conductive materials.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands on research and development in the area of electroless and electrolytic plating, formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints and adhesives.
  • Troubleshoot raw materials.
  • Provide hands on scientific and analytical approaches to product development.
Qualifications
  • A degree in chemistry, polymer science or materials technology is necessary.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferred, especially in plating or polymer formulation.
  • Eligibility to work on non-exportable technologies: candidate must be a U.S. citizen or hold required credentials.
  • Ability to provide hands‑on technical leadership with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a production environment.
  • Ability to be self‑managing and task focused.
  • Highly motivated and results oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, suppliers and customers.

  • Pay Range: $87,050 to $145,250 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
