Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

ACES Village School is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work in a dynamic Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program for autistic students. The role is a 10‑month position located in North Haven, Connecticut, with required attendance at an in‑person Summer School for specialists.

Responsibilities
  • Review data regularly and communicate findings to supervisors and relevant team members.
  • Conduct student and staff observations, procedural fidelity checks, and reliability checks on data.
  • Analyze and report behavioral and instructional data; prepare and disseminate assessment reports.
  • Perform formal behavior‑analytic assessments, including functional, skill‑based, and ecological evaluations.
  • Maintain data management systems, create graphs, and generate reports.
  • Develop and implement individualized instructional task analyses and instructional strategies.
  • Supervise and evaluate BSAP staff; collaborate with leadership on program design and assessment.
  • Complete all forms, reports, and paperwork timely and accurately.
  • Communicate behavior and instructional information to team members, outside agencies, and families on an ongoing basis.
  • Participate in staff and parent meetings, and attend parent meetings as required.
  • Provide training and feedback to staff and parents on instructional and behavioral skills.
  • Develop and conduct formal presentations and workshops; support training in the home setting.
  • Psychomotor the ongoing professional development through training and discussions.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Current BACB certification as a BCBA and a Connecticut state license (or eligibility).
  • Completion of the ACES Systematic Safety Intervention Strategy Training (ASSIST) within one year of hire.
  • Obtaining BACB recognition for meeting the Standards for Supervision Requirements to supervise RBTs and BCBA exam candidates within one year of hire.
  • Understanding of all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to behavior services.
  • Fluent application of pedagogic and applied behavior analytic concepts, principles, and methodologies.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth through trainings and continued learning opportunities.
