Carotid Ultrasound Technician

Care Medica is seeking an experienced and dependable Carotid Ultrasound Technician to join our growing medical practice. We are looking for a qualified professional to perform carotid ultrasound studies in an outpatient medical office setting.

• Perform carotid duplex ultrasound studies accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
• Coordinate with providers and office staff to support efficient patient care.

• Previous experience performing carotid duplex ultrasound studies required.
• Appropriate ultrasound education, training, and credentials.
• Knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques and protocols.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently in outpatient medical practice.
• Must meet all applicable Connecticut requirements for performing diagnostic ultrasound studies.
