** to join our executive leadership team. This executive-level role will support BHcare’s continued growth by advancing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, strengthening community relationships, and supporting long-term organizational sustainability.

The
** Chief Business Development Officer
** will provide leadership for business development, strategic growth, development, marketing, communications, grants, and community engagement, working closely with the President/CEO, , executive leadership, and external partners to move approved strategies from concept to implementation.
** Candidates must reside in Connecticut to be eligible for this position

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Lead strategic growth and business development initiatives aligned with BHcare’s mission and long-term goals.
* Identify and evaluate opportunities for service expansion, partnerships, affiliations, and revenue diversification.
* Build and maintain relationships with funders, community partners, healthcare providers, referral sources, and other key stakeholders.
* Provide strategic direction for development, marketing, communications, grants, and community engagement.
* Partner with leadership to assess market opportunities, develop business plans, and implement approved initiatives.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, public health, marketing, communications, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
* Experience in leading business development, strategic partnerships, organizational growth, fundraising, marketing, communications, or related functions required; nonprofit or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
* Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and cultivate strong relationships with executive leaders, funders, community partners, and other key stakeholders.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $215,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, and internal equity considerations.
